The effect of cube strategy upon the achievement and lateral thinking for fifth grade literary students

The aims of this research was to identify the effect of cube strategy upon the achievement and lateral thinking of fifth grade literary. Researcher used the experimental design. A disciple of post-test, chose researcher division (A) to represent the experimental group that studied according to the cube strategy, and represented division (B) of the control group, which is studying the traditional with method. The number of students (60 Students) by (30) students in each division. Equivalent the two groups in variables: Age of the students and intelligence. The researcher prepared the achievement test and the lateral thinking test, and the validity, psychometric characteristics and constancy. The results showed the superiority of the experimental group that studied according to the cube strategy in educational and lateral thinking. Researcher recommended using the cube strategy in teaching.
