The effect of using the learning contracts in an achievement of material of sociology at the fourth-grade students and in the higher-order thinking

The research aims to identify the impact of the learning contracts in a achievement of subject sociology with students fourth grade literary and higher-order thinking. Researcher used the experimental design a disciple of partial and the posttest, chose researcher division (A) to represent the experimental group that studied according to the learning contracts, and represented division (B) of the control group, which is studying the traditional with method. The number of students (64 Students) by (32) students in each division. Equivalent the two groups in variables: Age of the students, intelligence, higher-order thinking test. The researcher prepared the achievement test and test the higher-order thinking test, were the validity and psychometric characteristics and constancy, the results showed the superiority of the experimental group that studied according to the learning contracts in educational and higher-order thinking. Researcher recommended using the learning contracts in teaching.
