Abstract

The significance of the research lies in the importance of finding a unified calendar worldwide with respect Quran’s reference to the succession of day and night, the accuracy of the moon movement and the estimation of its homes in a way that does not allow for the slightest disturbance in its movement. In this study, we focused on several important points that are supposed to have a significant impact on the development of a global calendar. The disadvantages of the calendars were discussed in terms of their reliance on imaginary lines such as the Greenwich Line. The legitimacy of the use of astrophotography was also discussed and whether it was linked to the time of the first vision of the Crescent. For the purpose of developing a free of these negatives, we have conducted a linguistic study of some of the terms related to the subject of the research, on the basis of which a unified calendar, "Global Ka’aba Calendar" was developed taking into account the references of time and place. For reference time, the first visibility of the Crescent has been adopted. While The place we took from Mecca is considered as a place reference. In our analysis we have relied on what is stated in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and what is stated in the books of interpretations and the statements of the pioneer jurists.
