Study of Toxoplasmosis infection in Iraq and its effect on public health

Abstract

This study presented that there is variation in the number and percent of Toxoplasmosis in years of study .The highest percent in the years 2003, 2004. The number of the infected persons was 3218 with infection percent 7.62% the lowest percent for the infection of this disease was in the year 2008 with 421 infected persons and 2.3%.

     In the year 2010 the infection increased and reached 4.7% . We conclude that there is no control measurement have been used to control the disease so the infection increase again because of disuse of control measurement.
